Downloading the T-Monitor Specification

The T-Monitor is the basic software that is responsible for booting the T-Engine and starting the T-Kernel.  The T-Engine Forum has just released the T-Monitor specification to the general public and it can be downloaded from the T-Engine Forum website.  It is available in both English and Japanese, but can be downloaded (at this stage) only from the Japanese language website (similar to the way that the T-Kernel specification can be downloaded).

You can get the T-Monitor specification in two ways:

1. It should be provided on the CD that came with your T-Engine in the “spec” directory.

2. The T-Kernel specification is also available from the T-Engine Forum website. Unfortunately, the information is only available from the Japanese web pages.  Both the English and Japanese versions of the specification can be downloaded from the following URL:
http://www.t-engine.org/T-Kernel/tkernel.html

The link you want to get the specification from is shown below (third column) - it links to a PDF document called 020-S002en-01.00.00.pdf

I’m sure that it will soon also be available from the English website. But, until then, just follow the instructions above.
